Multi-language is the functionality that allows the platform to present the interface in the right language for each person, with the possibility of fine-tuning (internal terminology, regionalisms and area names) without relying on development. In practice, you combine three layers:
User language (what each person sees when they log in)
System translation (interface texts)
Content and eligibility (channels, tracks, sessions and targeted banners)
Here’s how Happmobi’s multi-language LMS platform works and how your operation speeds up with fast editing and CSV import.
Each user has a language preset. When they access the platform, they already see the navigation in the language they have set (e.g. Spanish). If necessary, the user can change the language in the flag selector.
This model takes care of the basics (showing the correct interface), but Multi Idiomas goes further: it ensures that the platform’s texts, from the menu to the screen labels, follow that language completely.
This is where the strategic part comes in: it’ s not enough to translate the system. In many scenarios, you want different content per language and per audience.
In the admin panel, the administrator configures elements such as channels,tracks,sessionsand featured areas and defineseligibility, i.e. who should see what.
A common example: a Spanish-language channel with Spanish-language content should only appear to people who are eligible for that audience. The same logic applies to sessions and tracks.
Even with a well-crafted translation, each company has its own vocabulary. Sometimes your company wants to call “Courses” “Training”, or change a standard term for an internal expression.
On Happmobi’s multi-language LMS and LXP platform, you can access the language dictionary (Portuguese, English, Spanish, etc.) and edit the texts on the interface. This way, you’re not stuck with a literal translation and can adapt the platform to your company’s context.
Editing through the dictionary can be laborious for occasional adjustments. That’s why the platform offers Quick Edit.
You can adjust terms like “Courses completed”, notification labels and other interface text without “hunting” for the key in the dictionary.
In multilingual projects, you can have hundreds or thousands of items in the dictionary. Multi-language allows you to do this:
Export the dictionary in CSV
Translate the value column (keeping the keys/paths)
Import the CSV back into the platform
This flow is perfect for speeding up with AI while maintaining control: if a translation isn’t quite right, you adjust the specific term and send it back. In just a few rounds, you can consistently close huge dictionaries.
