Selling replacement parts is one business. Building a complete technology ecosystem for the manufacturing industry is another, much harder one. Grupo Alltech made that leap in a little over two decades.
Today, the group brings together more than 250 employees distributed across four units: Caxias do Sul, where it all began in 2001, Joinville, Jundiaí, and the packaging operation in Jaraguá. Along the way, more than 6,000 machines have already been sold to Brazilian industry, in areas ranging from machining to plastic injection, through cutting, forming and robotic automation.
Growth didn’t stop at machines. The group built a complete ecosystem, designed as a “One Stop Shop” solution, including Alltech Tools for tools, Allservice for maintenance and technical support, Allrobotics for industrial automation and robotics, plus its own financial solutions to make modernization viable for customers. It’s the kind of breadth usually seen in companies with decades of international operation, not a Brazilian group founded in the early 2000s.
The problem is that this same growth multiplies variables. Every new unit, every new product line and every new business front demands a technically sharp team aligned to the same standard, no matter which state it’s in.
Grupo Alltech’s portfolio isn’t simple to master. There are machine tools of different technologies, robotics lines, replacement parts and automation services, each with its own technical learning curve. Training a team capable of selling, installing and maintaining this entire portfolio is, on its own, a complex task.
What can make this task harder is distance. With units in three different states, it’s natural for each to develop, over time, its own way of training newcomers. One technician learns one way in Caxias do Sul. Another learns a different way in Jundiaí. Neither is wrong, but neither ensures the entire operation speaks the same technical language.
Grupo Alltech’s team doesn’t lack technical knowledge — that’s clear from 25 years of history and more than 6,000 machines sold. What may be missing is a structure that carries this knowledge to every unit, always the same way, at the same pace the group continues to grow.
Without a common structure, some effects start to appear, even as the technical team keeps delivering results day to day. They’re discreet signs, only visible when the group tries to open a new unit or prove compliance in an audit.
These effects tend to accumulate silently until they become a real obstacle to the very pace of expansion the group has already proven capable of sustaining.
Main challenges identified:
These points don’t appear due to a lack of technical commitment. They appear because growth across multiple fronts outpaced the capacity of an artisanal training method.
The question guiding the journey is: how do you structure Grupo Alltech’s technical and commercial training so it grows at the same pace as its units and business lines, without depending on whoever’s teaching?
Instead of depending on whoever’s in the room to pass on technical knowledge, Grupo Alltech gains a single digital structure, accessible across all four units and by any authorized partner, where the content is the same, no matter who accesses it or from where.
This means a newly hired technician in Jundiaí follows the same safety and machine-operation path that a colleague in Caxias do Sul followed years earlier. It also means Allservice’s service network can be trained to the same technical standard as internal teams, without depending on informal handoffs between colleagues.
The alternative model is clear: pulling a technician out of operations for days for isolated in-person training is costly and doesn’t always guarantee content retention. Placing learning within the routine, available the moment an employee needs to check a procedure or renew a certification, tends to cost less and stay closer to the actual moment of work.
Technologies and resources that can support this design
In practice, this structure relies on a specific set of Happmobi platform features, chosen to respond to the reality of an industrial operation distributed across several units.
With technical training organized into a single structure, Grupo Alltech tends to feel the effect first in the speed with which new units and new employees keep pace with the group’s already-established standard.

Once structured, technical training opens room to keep pace with Grupo Alltech’s own expansion, which has already shown willingness to grow into new business fronts and locations over 25 years.
In the end, what gives shape to a complete industrial ecosystem isn’t just the machines sold or the units opened. It’s the people who know how to operate, maintain and sell this technology, now with a structured path to learn, to the same standard, at any unit where they are. It’s this kind of foundation that allows Grupo Alltech to keep growing without losing what it built over two and a half decades.
